About Pause Jewellery

Mission

Earn in order to donate. Our mission is to help the animals and Nature by making beautiful jewellery, and donating to societies working to help them from our proceeds. We believe God created a wonderful world and it is up to us to preserve it. Realizing our unique talents granted by God, we serve to use them to contribute to the world. All Pause Jewellery products are made with our loving heart for Nature and animals. When you wear our jewellery, you have already helped to spread love.

Goal

Make you pay! Once we achieve this goal, we will pass your bank notes to our big boss – Nature and animals. Our ultimate goal is to use your money to serve Nature and animals.

Method to Achieve the Goal

Use every single creative cell in our body to make very beautiful jewellery. Use every one of our fingers to put all the imagination into a piece of jewellery, no matter how many times we have to wrap bandages around our finger tips, or how many times we’ve seen the clock showing 3am...

This is what you've achieved when you purchased from us...

Minimum 10% of the sales proceeds from our regular items on the Pause Jewellery website will be donated to different organizations, which are working for animals or environmental protection. 10% is just a minimum. We aim at sharing our revenue as much as we can with charity.

About the Designer

Rivor Lau is the founder and designer of Pause Jewellery. She is thankful that God granted her the talent of design, so she wants to use her talent to contribute to Nature. Though she majored in English Journalism at Hong Kong Baptist University, she did not let it limit herself when choosing a life long career. After working for a famous restaurant group and a jewellery company, she realized that the thought of being rich hardly gave her the drive to make achievements. Nature and animals, which always surrounded her during her childhood living on the mountain, was the things that gave her the ultimate drive. This drive and her experience in the jewellery industry while studying jewellery design led to the creation of Pause Jewellery. Pause Jewellery, for her, is a tool to fulfill her dream - to spread love by using her talent to earn money for charities, especially animal centric organizations, as well as environmental protection groups.

公司成立原因

創辦人Rivor因為愛大自然和愛動物，同時又感謝上天給了她創作的天份，因此她決定回禮，透過成立Pause Jewellery去幫助大自然。

目標

要你打開銀包付款。目標成功後，將款項交給大老闆-大自然和動物們。公司的最終目標，是要以專長賺取金錢，然後去幫助正在為動物及環保而努力的機構。

手段

很簡單。設計，用心設計-真的很用心去設計。然後用十隻手指，將天馬行空的想像變為獨特的首飾，最後讓你喜歡得要買。（雖然不知道指頭因此包了多少次膠布；看了多少次3am展示在鐘面上。）將你的錢變為資助大自然和動物們的錢。

當你購買 Pause Jewellery 網站內的首飾，你付出的己有最少10%捐助了正為保護動物和環境而努力的慈善機構。10%只是最低限度，我們會儘量將會件飾物可捐的百份比提高。

關於設計師

Rivor Lau。亦是創辦人。選了香港浸會大學的傳理系做主修科，畢業後沒有做記者，因為她相信所讀的不一定要成為所做的。後來做過著名飲食集團的公關，可是體內的創作細胞日益擴散，半工讀地成為珠寶設計師，但最終還是發現 "要做有錢人" 的這個念頭對她全無推動力。愈大愈發現，小時候住在山腰裡的木屋時，所常常接觸到的大自然和動物，才能真正觸動她的心靈，激發她努力工作，所以她將創作和保護大自然連在一起，最後成立了 Pause Jewellery。透過Pause Jewellery，她用天份將天馬行空的想像化為美麗的實物，再以實物換成金錢，最後用金錢幫助她所愛的大自然。
